Quality improvement and training is a department responsible for the coordination of all the hospital training. This means that all hospital employees wishing to go on short term and long term training have to apply through our office to the training committee. Our office serves as secretariat to the training committee.

Quality improvement department is also responsible for conducting patient clinical audit to ensure that the care that is being rendered to the patients is of quality. Clinical audit is carried out using an assessment tool with a benchmark pass rate of 90%. 
In addition to training and clinical audit, the department also conducts external ward inspections to evaluate the processes and system that are in place and ensure that they are functioning. For any errors detected, the department makes recommendation to the relevant supervisor.
