WCH BACKGROUND
The Windhoek Central Hospital was commissioned in 1982 and became fully operational as a health facility in 1984. After independence, the hospital remained a government facility and was identified as the National Referral Centre for specialized health care services. The hospital has a bed capacity of 855 patients. The uniqueness of the hospital lies in the variety of specialists for the country.
WCH MANDATE
The Mandate of WCH is to provide an integrated, affordable, accessible, quality, patients centered health care services that is responsive to the needs of the population.
