The Cardiac Surgery service has entered its fourth year of active operation with surgery offered by a two cardiothoracic surgeon. Services offered are adult cardiac surgery, Peadiatric Cardiac surgery for patient weighing more than 10kg general thoracic surgery which encompasses all the eleent of chest, lung and esophageal disease. To date we have operated successfully on 419 patients requiring open heart surgery and roughly 1500 patients requiring surgery for chest, lung and esophageal disease.
